Solo performanceDuration 40 minutes

The idea for this work emerged in the third-class carriage of the "Uzhgorod-Lisichansk" train on the eve of New Year 2015. In the adjacent compartment, they were pouring the second bottle of moonshine into plastic cups and trying to figure out the origin of the name of the Christmas decorations factory. All compartment residents knew that the factory was called "GALIMPEX." But no one remembered why.

"Why are we the way we are?" - the author of this performance could ask himself. However, instead of that, he, along with other passengers, was looking for emphasis in the word GALIMPEX. The train traveled for 28 hours, of which 5 were spent at stops. The total sleep time for the passengers in the fourth carriage was supposed to be 416 hours, but the issue had to be resolved. Therefore, almost no one slept. In the early morning, they started singing songs.

The protagonist of the performance put on headphones, closed his eyes, and played the group SPACE. Images from the past appeared before his eyes: Didier Marouani with a lantern on his head swayed to the beat of the music. Despite the intrusive association, it was difficult to imagine him with this lantern in the coal mine. And why should you really even try it?
