DUEL.SOLO
Solo performanceDuration 40 minutes
The performance involved one performer and any number of real or imagined viewers. The main character of the play is obsessed with self-improvement, which turns into an obsession of superiority over others. It is obvious that he has a lot of ideas and suggestions, which, as it seems to lead to superiority over opponents. All these thoughts one way or another are manifested through his actions.
On the other hand, looking at the sequence of its actions, it is clear also that no specific ideas in this regard he does not have. And everything he does is motivated by a desire to do something just to keep the connection between his own inner and outer worlds. Sometimes it seems that he just trying to attract anybody`s attention.
Does the pursuit of perfectionism and self-improvement always lead to self-destruction?
Will the so-called "victory" become his greatest defeat when he was left alone with yourself?
